In the afternoon of November 6, 2021, Star Energy signed the second contract in this year's CIIE. At the Trade and Investment Matchmaking Conference and Major Project Signing Ceremony between Ningbo City and "the Belt and Road" countries, Star Energy signed a cooperation agreement with Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies Group, a global technology giant and a Fortune Global 500 enterprise. The two parties plan to invest 40 million dollars to introduce advanced technology and build a waste plastic recycling plant.

China produces approximately 90 million tons of waste plastic annually, most of which is landfilled or incinerated. Either method will cause serious secondary pollution to the environment. After the project is put into operation, it will change the current environmental protection industry and bring new ideas for the green recycling of waste plastics to the society!
